Finally a break and Update!

Yes, I am done until next year with school!!! I loved going to school but I have been super busy and so it's nice to have a little breather.  

My house is in need of much needed attention and organization. The weekend before Thanksgiving our bedroom flooded and so they had to tear out our ceiling, walls and carpet and for 3 weeks we have been sleeping in our front room on couches. Exciting and fun let me tell you. We pretty much had no privacy while having our landlord come in and out of our apartment let alone the men doing the construction. Anyways, they just finished with putting a room together yesterday so now we can have our room back. 

Last weekend our family went done to the festival of trees. I haven't been done there for so long and I can't believe how big it has gotten. I took a picture of a couple trees. I am so glad that they do this to help those families that need help and also for sharing loved ones memories.

For all those who love Twilight you will enjoy this tree. There were a few that had the Twilight theme, but this was the best one hands down.
                                                                           This tree would be nice for all of those shoe lovers like me.

This one as one of the most creative one there. The tree is actually shot gun shells split in half. Crazy I know! What a creative person for coming up with this idea.

A family tradition of ours is that we get together with my moms family and drive out to Willard to look at the lights. It allways fun to get together with the family. We are growing in age and in numbers and it's crazy how time flies so qucik. I remember when some of these boys were babies and now the are all grown up. It also wasn't long ago when little Maddi was just a baby.

I am a wimp when it comes to the cold so I stayed in the truck while a majority every one else rode in the back and enjoyed the breeze.

Weber State Great,Great,Great!

Want to know why I have been such a slacker? This is why. I am a full time student at Weber State. I can't believe how fast time flies when all you do is go to work, school and then the rest of the night work on homework. I really can say I love school and wish I would have done it sooner. Also, I was promoted at work to the Registrar and I can honestly say that I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Trying to juggle that and school has been the journey the last few months. Now you know were I disappeared to. I am trying to manage my time better so that I can dedicate my time to my fellow bloggers and also be able to post my blogs. In the next few days I hope to update with what else I have been up to.

Family Night,& Hair 911!

For Father's Day my brother and sister-in-law put in a fire pit in my father-in-laws pasture, so we decided to have a cook out on Friday. We had a lot of fun and it was nice not to have to travel far to have s'mores and roasted hot dogs, also to mention not having to pay ridiculous gas prices.

I love being able hang out by the fire and have a good s'more.

Now to my next blog, I am having a really hard time deciding whether to grow my hair out or keep it short. I have had my hair in three stages, long ,medium, and short , and I can't decide which one I like the best. Look at all four photos and help me decide which one I should go with. Also, I am trying to think of a new color for my hair, if you have any suggestions let me know. Please vote!

We Are Back

So we got back last week from our fun vacation. The weather was nice and the shopping was great. We left on Saturday morning down to Mesquite, on the way down I got a really bad soar throat, from there on it got worse. On Monday we were in Vegas, and I still had a soar throat and major congestion going on. I was was so miserable in the afternoon, and we decided to head home that night. We got home and Tuesday and Wednesday I stayed home with a bad sinus infection. Other then the sinus infection we had a great time in Vegas.

Catching Up!

So it's time for me to catch up with my blog with all the events that I have had. Last month I had a bridal shower that I threw for my friend Brianna. She is married now but I still wanted to post some from the shower that I gave her.

On the same day as the bridal shower Megan,(my sister) blessed her beautiful daughter. It was so nice for them to be able to come down and have all the family be there for Ella's blessing.

Brandon's brother was able to bless Ella, it so amazing how strong the spirit is when a baby is being bless. What a beautiful miracle. The cute cake in the second picture is what my talented aunt made.

VeGaS hErE We CoMe!

Yeah warm weather and some relaxation.


It's our third Anniversary on Monday so we decided to pack up our suitcase and head to somewhere warm, were we could relax by a pool, and do my favorite thing, Shop! When we get back I have to do some serious work and update my blog. Until then I am going to do nothing but have fun.

3 Years & Many More To Come

I want to post this since I will not be near a computer on our Anniversary. This is our wedding day the best day of my life for now. I love my husband very much and I truly found the best man ever. These three years have flown by, and I am glad to share many more with my best friend. Thanks for all the support and love. I am so grateful that I get to be with you for the rest of my life.

1. Where did you meet?

The first time we meet was a singles ward activity. We had the same mutual friend and Jason happened to be sitting next to him when I showed up to the house.

2. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?

I really didn’t notice him, we talked, but nothing really came into mind. He was dating another girl at the time.

3. Do you remember what she/he was wearing?

I am really bad, no I really don’t remember.

4. Where was the first time you kissed this person?

It was a Sunday night, and my friend and I decided to invite some friends over for to have a waffle party. Jason came over and stayed later, he kissed me on our front room coach. I know this sound dumb, but I really was speechless after that kiss.

5. How did he/she ask you out?

Well we met on a Monday night and later in the week Jason asked me out for the following Friday. We were supposed to go bowling with our mutual friend and his date, the key word is supposed to. I ended up calling him and trying to break off the date by telling him that I had the stomach flu. I know I am such a brat, anyways, he told our friend of the situation and our friend told him that I always do this and that he should tell me that they could bring me over soup. I said that was ok, I didn’t think they would stay that late. I opened the door and saw Jason, he looked pretty hot so I let them stay over the rest of the night and of coarse I had to call some of my friends for back up support. I am surprise my husband stuck with me and decided to come over, he is the greatest husband and friend I could ever want.

6. Where did you go for your first date?

I guess you could say my house, playing sick.

7. How long did you know this person before you became a couple?

It really wasn’t long, after the he came over to my house on Friday we pretty much hung out every night, I still was being a big brat and playing hard to get even though I was interested. After we had met I left for New York for a little over a week, when I got back we were pretty much a serious couple.
8. Has this person ever proposed to you?

Yes, we didn’t date long before we were engaged. We meet in mid September,we were in engaged the weekend before Christmas and married 05/05/05, it's has been the best 3 years.

9. Do you and this person have kids together?

No, we are letting our siblings have all the fun and we are enjoying how things are for the moment.

10. Have you ever broken the law with this person?

Nope!
11. When was the first time you realized that you liked this person?
The night after I tried ditching him we went to a Weber State football game, that night I knew I was intrested in him.

12. Do you get along with any of the ex's of your partner?

Umm, well I only know one ex, and she is was his first girlfriend in high school. I would maybe get along with her except I think she still has a thing for him or wishes that she married him. I am not trying to be rude, let me explain why I have come up with this conclusion. First thing, she has been sending his family and him Christmas cards for the longest time, this might not seem odd, the fact is after he broke up with her their junior year he has never kept in contact with her, and she got married while he was on his mission. Last year she some how got our address and was able to send us a Christmas card, no one knows our real address, we have all our mail sent to Jason parents house. A little freaked? Yeah that is how I felt. Also, when she found out we were getting married she went out that same day and picked up a wedding gift and dropped it off to my mother-in-laws house. After that Jason felt like we should invite her to our reception, so we did.

13. Do you trust this person?

Yes, I trust him with everything.

14. Do you see your partner in your future?

Absolutely. We have the privilige to be with each other forever! ; )

15. What’s the most expensive thing this person has given you?

My wedding ring, in fact he sold his jeep for it.

16. What is one thing he/she does that gets on your nerves?

Leaving stuff around the house, especially when he leaves his dishes out and I know he goes through the kitchen and doesn’t take them with him.

17. What is the thing you do that gets on his/her nerves?

When I go shopping and he comes with me and follows me around. He says I don’t pay attention to him and he feels like a little puppy dog. Sorry honey, I really appreciate it when you come with me.

18. Where do you see each other in 15 years from now?

Still more in love then ever, a family, and a home.

Future Racers

So 2 weeks ago I threw a surprise get together for my husbands birthday at a place called Speed Street. Speed Street is an indoor go cart race track and it is way fun. I was able to surprise my husband really well, he didn't suspect a thing. We raced 25 laps and I ended third to last, but that was because I was hit three times towards the last lap. I was really upset I thought I was doing well and kicking some serious butt. Anyways, here are some pictures of the crew!

Jason's Birthday

Last weekend for Jason's birthday dinner we decided to go to McGrath's fish house. To my surprise it was really not bad eating fish. Yes, I hate fish and my husband loves it. I knew he had been wanting to try oysters, so I stuck it out and decided I would try it. Eating fish really was not bad at all, but of coarse I played it safe and ordered the halibut. We had Jason's sister and her husband join us for the event. This is my cute nephew Kotah. Kotah is a poser and loves his picture taken. He is more of a risk taker than me, he got the salmon and loved it.

This picture was taken on March 2nd, his actual birthday. We just had family over for cake and ice cream.

Hubby's Birthday!

It's Jason's birthday on Sunday and I thought I would do a slide show for his 27 years. I ask him all the time if he realizes that he is 3 years away from 30. I personally think its crazy we are getting that old. I can't believe it; he is growing up so fast. Anyways, I want to let him know that I love him and appreciate him putting up with me. He is the greatest husband in the world.

New Start

So I never thought I would get into this whole blog thing but as I was reading my sister's blog I realize this is a fun ang great way to keep in contact with everyone. I am going to try this out and hopefully be able to stay on top with it.
